The software is shipped on a CD-ROM in an attractive cardboard sleeve (click on the image to the left for an enlarged photo) and is available in two versions:

consists of the software itself plus a database derived from The Wine Advocate from 1992 through the February 2004 issue. The database contains over 66,000 wine tastings for over 55,000 wines (representing virtually all the wines reviewed in those 68 bi-monthly issues of the newsletter).
