Formatting Tables with the Mouse

You can resize the width of columns and height of rows in any table just by holding the left mouse button down and sweeping across in the direction you want to expand or contract. Sweeping from within any cell in a row or column to outside will increase the width of the column (if you exit to the right) or height of the row (if you exit through the bottom).

Sweeping in the opposite directions (e.g. to the left or through the top) will reverse either process.

On expansion the fit is an automatic amount for column width. Each increase in row height will be one line of text. On contraction the width decreases by a fixed percentage, and row height goes down by one line of text.
